Zay Posted December 29, 2017 Posted December 29, 2017 Arca is my fav in this bunch Turn Out the Lights and Fin have great moments but as a whole they were okay Out in the Storm didn't do much for me tho. Might need to listen to it once more. Have yet to check out the Alvvays record
Ewan Chaos Posted December 29, 2017 Posted December 29, 2017 I'm into like half of your albums so far but lemme go back to the top 10 singles REAL QUICK: Awesome description of Slip Away - such a highlight from that record. Pills I used to kinda love, now I'm like a bit... meh about it. Don't love it, don't hate it. Perfect Places isn't my fave Melodrama track, so I'm happy Green Light got the top Lorde pick & is an awesome #1 HARD TIMES yes. Weirdly Hard Times wasn't an immediate love for me either (without the previous Paramore love), I guess took me a bit to really enjoy that Talking Heads influence. YES to Agnes as well! I remember saying last year I was surprised they weren't gonna release it as a single and look where we are. Praying & On Hold - amazing, the latter in particular. Taylor Swift is... Taylor Swift! (lolololol)
JEWRJEWR Posted December 29, 2017 Posted December 29, 2017 Antisocialites was done WRONG its nice to see real estate tho
Brandon Posted December 29, 2017 Posted December 29, 2017 Hard Times,Green Light & Praying Nice Top 5

Kevin2803 Posted December 29, 2017 Posted December 29, 2017 Witness wasn't that bad. But it's her weakest album. How dare you to call a Dua Lipa song medicore? Quote Glory was nice I guess! Uhm, it was more than just nice Banks & Selena
theblackestday Posted December 29, 2017 Posted December 29, 2017 Arca, Witness, MFPIT, OITS, Antisocialites Legend Bush snatching
TayRianaPH Posted December 29, 2017 Posted December 29, 2017 I'm back!! Hard Times is great!! Green Light is a masterpiece too! Praying was this year's highlight too, slay! comment on mine too
Eeveelution Posted December 29, 2017 Posted December 29, 2017 Revival above Antisocialites? Alvvays did not deserve that.
ATRL Moderator Unoriginal Posted December 29, 2017 ATRL Moderator Posted December 29, 2017 MfPiT should've been at least forty places higher tho Dua You should've decided not to include witness
Mark Rih Posted December 29, 2017 Posted December 29, 2017 Dua I lowkey agrih with what u said about Witness Selana
Topmaster 2 Posted December 29, 2017 Posted December 29, 2017 Not Eminem with that flop Sis, Dua Lipa >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Arca's cover is awful Glory was tragic
thecptz Posted December 29, 2017 Posted December 29, 2017 mom i can't wait to see melodrama in your top 5 love your baby
Lucas32 Posted December 29, 2017 Posted December 29, 2017 Glad End Game did not win this Green Light is a great song also love Perfect Places, I promise, On Hold and Slip Away. Pills is nice too in spite of that grating chorus
Playa Playa Posted December 29, 2017 Posted December 29, 2017 Arca should be higher! Kate Bush She really is the best.
lhdang2000 Posted December 29, 2017 Posted December 29, 2017 Revival is already here. I agree with what you said about Witness as Katy has matured. However, it only feels like her production is, but her lyrics is still that bubbly, sweet, which creates contrasts through the whole album.
ColdKeane Posted December 29, 2017 Posted December 29, 2017 Not a fan of Revival Alvvays and Real Estate
TheWayWeWere Posted December 29, 2017 Posted December 29, 2017 I really LOVE some tracks from Witness, but it doesn't work overall for me Dua Lipa has amazing debut tbh Kate Bush mention
World Eater Posted December 29, 2017 Posted December 29, 2017 ON HOLD WON, POOR OTHER SINGLES Hard Times and Praying were also gewd! Green Light is an excellent (although kinda predictable but then again, who tf cares) choice for #1
World Eater Posted December 29, 2017 Posted December 29, 2017 I pressed the submit reply buttom to early so here's another post Listen to Real Estate's two previous albums, they're so good Skip Matt's songs though, they weren't good anyway and here's a reasonable excuse to do so So nice to see Arca, Susanne and Alvvays here
Dom Posted December 29, 2017 Posted December 29, 2017 yasss at dua lipa, one of my fave albums of 2017, after so many delays it was amazing to finally have it in my heads.. such an album and such a moment for me. witness is eh, has a few good songs eminem album was not the tea at all, but I loved the P!nk song (their best collab so far, revenge found dead in the ditch)
ATRL Moderator Legend E Posted December 29, 2017 ATRL Moderator Posted December 29, 2017 You're so wrong for the Kate Bush photo But yes, I agree with your description. I also got into HOL this year Running Up That Hill is one of the best songs ever. Witness + Dua
potent Posted December 29, 2017 Posted December 29, 2017 Witness and Revival probably have a couple good songs but I'm not really motivated to check them out. I don't check for BANKS but her songs are always nice whenever they randomly pop up in my library lol.
