How I would describe my #1 last year: a post-breakup song that offers some euphoric emotional release and respite. And I would say that this year's #1 is somewhat similar to last year's #1... Think you know what it is? Post your predictions!

Something to Remember Me By = BEST song from that record, but we've already shared love for the song. I Feel It Coming is my fave from that album still! Good pick. Definitely the better & more "Daft Punk" of the two Daft Punk feats., obviously. 

 

Bad Liar is iconic duh. The two xx songs I like... don't care for at all, but hey they're the only singles right? lol so it's fair to put em up. Outside of On Hold from last year which is AMAZING.

 

Fake Happy rules; I like your write-up for it, but for me After Laughter was my first Paramore record, so the punk-like influences to me are cool but the throwback isn't something I particularly need. "I should have known when things were going good that's when I get knocked down" is like... one of THE lyrics to encompass the album, and the fact that they follow it with "badabadababa" seems shallow to some people, but is so clever to me.

 

Tho my fave part of the song is the last chorus "Don't ask me how ah been - don't make me, PLAY PRETEEEEND"

Look  i saw 'avant garde' and i was like  but then i saw 'for Taylor' it made sense 

15 - 11 is perfect  the xx with the back to back entries and Bad Liar so close to the top ten

Last year's top ten was kinda cute i like about half of the songs there. Love the #1

The Lazuli doesn't sound as nice as The Holy Ground so I decided to keep the latter as like a form of branding
