#30 Slowdive by Slowdive

As much as I'd like to say I loved this album, that's far from being true. There are many songs that took me some time to understand, or even digest (I've mentioned which ones in another thread ). I'd even call this album their least consistent. However, we also got songs like 'Star Roving' and 'Don't know why' that are just as memorable as the ones we got from them back in the 90s.

Slowdive's was a hit for me, I loved the throwback feel and the two song's you mentioned as your faves are also mine! And about Lana ermmm, it was really meh

Slowdive was an acceptable comeback album and it could've been worse. Can't go wrong with Love

I’m not the biggest fan of slow dive but the album was cute for a listen or two.  

 

Love is good but there are a couple songs that are better by her this year.

"Love" was pretty cute. I was happy with Lust for Life after the snoozefest that was Honeymoon. Legend LDR did that.

I had to listen to the album just because I love their previous work. And Lust for life is just bad, love is a great song though.

Love is the only song that I ended up giving a second listen from her album

I feel like Honeymoon was a bit better than LFL (imo), tho Love is the best songs she's released in a WHILE.
