#20 // Anymore - Goldfrapp

One of my absolute faves released this year and didn’t disappoint!  I also ended up getting a birthday wish from her on her Facebook live that I still am shook about.  This is the first of two Goldfrapp songs on my countdown!

 

#19 // Bodak Yellow - Cardi B

I didn’t understand the appeal this song until I heard it at the club in Austin in September.  Now I bop to it every time it comes on the radio.

 

#18 // Want You Back - HAIM

I’m an on again and off again HAIM stan, and while their album wasn’t my fave, this lead single has probably ended up my favorite song of theirs.

 

#17 // Thief - Ookay

Every year, I go to the Something Wonderful festival in Dallas.  This was my favorite discovery from the festival there, Ookay served a better set than most of the bigger names (including the highly disappointing DJ Snake) and Thief was by far the best in that set.

 

#16 // P.O.W.A. - M.I.A.

I am so happy that my best friend and I share our love for M.I.A. and we were bopping to this the moment it came out.

Ah that's a great pick from that Goldfrapp record! I always found Want You Back to be a bit overrated from that record, but I see the appeal!
