Wondervisions Posted December 11, 2017 Posted December 11, 2017 (edited) Hellooo! Welp, this year both music and movies impressed me and left me satisfied with almost every release so I thought I would join this and make my best of list(s). I'll be posting each segment on a daily basis throughout the week and will do brief reviews about my favorite items for this year! This is my first time doing this kind of stuff so hopefully I'll get it right and you guys could give me some feedback! Edited January 5, 2018 by Wondervisions

Uncatena Posted December 11, 2017 Posted December 11, 2017 love the OP, i saw like three films this year so here for more stuff to check out
Wondervisions Posted December 12, 2017 Author Posted December 12, 2017 (edited) As I mentioned in the original post this year was good for me as in music and films, with college and stuff I didn't have as much time as I'd have liked to watch many movies. Hence I just watched about 20 films this year. Most of them were good, others were god awful (justice cough league cough), but on the following list, I'll showcase five movies that are worth your time (they made me cry, laugh, scream, etc.) If you haven't seen them, I recommend each and every one of them and, If you have let me know your thoughts about them! LET'S START: 5. Baby Driver: This movie is super exciting from beginning to end, showing that action films don't have to follow necessarily clichés. The cast is also insanely good (even Eiza González tbh), and the soundtrack HOLY ****! Left every single piece of me torn apart! 4. Spider-Man: I've always loved Spider-Man, but I always felt that both of the previously released franchises were missing something, I realized it was mostly because of neither Andrew or Tobey had enough charisma. So when I saw that they were rebooting the series, I was kind of unsure if I wanted this to happen. But then when Tom was revealed to take the role of Peter I started to dig the idea. The film ended up being amazing even if it wasn't the most innovative film it made me laugh A LOT. 3. Dunkirk: This film is so epic like no other; the storyline is impressive, the sets are insane, and the plot flows like no other film I've ever watched, and I could go on and on. But what made this movie stood for me was how realistic it was, and Nolan's direction is as per usual fantastic. Definitely a must-watch from the modern era cinema. 2. Blade Runner 2049: Neo-noir / Sci-fi at its best, the visuals on this thing LORD are stunning (the best visuals since Interstellar hands down), Ryan's performance is jaw-dropping, and the storytelling of the movie is also one of the things that made this film stood out for me.) The faithfulness to the original make this film for me an instant classic and a bombastic sequel. 1. Call Me By Your Name: YES! What you heard is true this movie is one of the best films ever if you have read the book you know that the adaptation is just spectacular, it's so sensual so honest, it's melancholic, the performances are powerful, the chemistry between both actors is fantastic. Whew, I could go on all day long, If you haven't watched this, go right now and do it! You won't regret it, this is the kind of movies that you don't mind if they snatch every single award on earth, and it also puts iconic gay films like "Brokeback Mountain." to shame. JUST FANTASTIC. That's it for today, hope you guys can comment about these movies and give me your opinions about them, and I would also like to thank you for the compliments about the design. ILY. Stay tuned tomorrow for more Edited December 12, 2017 by Wondervisions
