Price of Fame Posted December 20, 2017 Posted December 20, 2017 Mythological Beauty is stunning (my favorite track from the album is still Mary, tho)

jose168 Posted December 20, 2017 Posted December 20, 2017 Pleasure is awesome, one of the more pleasant songs on my work playlist. The clark album was 100% disappointing compared to his last. Big Thief i wanted to like the album more but cute standouts. Lemon punches, rih needs to rap more Feet dont fail me is probs my fave Queens opening track, i hate the redic intro though.
Lazuli Posted December 20, 2017 Posted December 20, 2017 Didn't get into Pleasure at first, thought it was too arid. But it grew on me and it's indeed a great song. Mythological Beauty is I kinda like Laura Marling's album but I am unable to single out a single song that I specifically like
Glassmouth Posted December 20, 2017 Posted December 20, 2017 Ponyboy is excellent! Will check some of the songs here!

I also use the edit version of lemon. The intro doesn't bother me much but sometimes I just want to skip to the actual good part. 11 hours ago, Lazuli said: Didn't get into Pleasure at first, thought it was too arid. I don't get much samey vibes from Laura but I can see what u mean. 15 minutes ago, Unoriginal said: In a good way I'm guessing? Sound & Quality wise imo.
Dom Posted December 20, 2017 Posted December 20, 2017 Lemon is such a good song, and Rihanna truly knows how to jump on quality songs. this just proves it. everything about that song is class.
TheWayWeWere Posted December 20, 2017 Posted December 20, 2017 I LOVE Sophie productions, Ponyboy Lemon Rih' rapping and production
Tom Vercetti Posted December 20, 2017 Author Posted December 20, 2017 Officially top 100 status, let's go.
Tom Vercetti Posted December 20, 2017 Author Posted December 20, 2017 95. Drake ft Jorja Smith & Black Coffee - Get It Together (Dancehall) Spoiler Out of the Passion Fruit to Blem nu-dancehall section on More Life, Get It Together captured my attention the most. I'd say this is more Jorja's song than anything and not just because the track before it was literally named " Jorja Interlude". There was slight controversy with this one as it was supposedly made for JLO, but i'm satisfied with the final product. I love her vocals here and the background piano that blends in with the beat. 94. Gallant ft Tablo & Eric Nam - Cave Me In (Alt R&B) Spoiler Back when this first dropped seemly out of nowhere, it was an immediate favorite. Right after a successful 2016, more material from Gallant was always welcome. This time he linked with some K-Artists to add some extra flavor in the mix, and the result was a success. Both Gallant & Eric provide the lush vocals with Tablo supply the verses. 93. Wolf Alice - Don't Delete The Kisses (Dream Pop) Spoiler The instrumental sounds euphorically uplifting despite the fact that this song is about being cautious about committing to full time relationship. There's also a noticeable disparity between her tranquil voice in the verses to the uproar like vocals in the chorus as she shouts out "what if it's not meant to be". 92. Iglooghost - Bug Thief (Wonky/Glitch Hop) Spoiler A collage of wacky random sound samples that works in its favor. A slight dosage of red bull after effects for the ears. 91. Idles - Well Done (Post Punk) Spoiler Well Done commentates on UK conformity and addresses a various of topics surrounding that such as Education, Workforce, Football, and even Reggae. 90. dvsn - Can't Wait (Alt R&B) Spoiler Can't Wait has an ultra smooth touch about it that creates a floating/Glide-y feeling which appealed the most to me from their recent album. A pleasant change of pace from the usual trap beat presence of its surroundings. 89. The xx - Dangerous (UK Bass/Indietronica) Spoiler Jamie xx teas with the beat. The lively orchestration gives it a neat touch too. I was really convinced by this as an opener due to its upbeat and melodious nature. 88. Jessie Ware - Selfish Love (Contemporary R&B) Spoiler Selfish Love was a satisfying sense of fresh air for her compared to the previous two singles she released from the Glasshouse era. it's enchanted with that Latin flare that gives it a special touch. One of the moments where she sounds best.
Tom Vercetti Posted December 20, 2017 Author Posted December 20, 2017 87. Tove Lo - Shedontknowbutsheknows (pop) Spoiler Production highlight and a bop. 86. Migos T-Shirt (Hip Hop) Spoiler Quavo & Takeoff's provide the hook game and each of the crew (especially Offset) provides the energy needed to make this track the complete package. The reverb beat and vocals are just small touches that add to the appeal. 85. Actress - X22RME (Microhouse) Spoiler From the beginning there's an established groove/rhythm that rides out all through the song that's capable of getting the head nodding . Quite accessible and lead worthy from him. 84. Jay Z - 4:44 (Hip Hop) Spoiler Got damn, that sample choice. No I.D did some major work and I love it. Jay goes all personal on this one, spilling out all the mistakes and errors of his ways in his relationship with Beyonce. This is the intended centerpiece of his album. 83. Daniel Caesar ft H.E.R - Best Part (R&B) Spoiler I was a bit late on the Freudian trip but he and H.E.R sound so angelic together. 82. Moses Sumney - Quarrel (Art Pop/Neo Soul) Spoiler I don't think the Radiohead comparisons with this specific track are much of a reach. The main selling point with Moses are those falsetto deliveries along with the majestic production. Quarrel is multidimensional with the mix of different instruments that are involved and with those aspects, it's the standout. 81. Jordan Rakei - Nerve (Neo Soul) Spoiler In my case, Nerve is pretty relateable and I admire Jordan's charm and the instrumentation.
