It's kinda interesting how Rapsody got no buzz around here when we see nonstop praise for the likes of Cardi, Cupcakke, Remy, etc.

She's not a meme nor popular, so there's that. Good song choice for her though.

Vintage :katie2: It's actually not in my top 4 from CollXtion II, but still an amazing track. Just got into her in October and she's fantastic.

Listened to that Buddy x Kaytranada EP and it was nice. Gave me the Kay fix I needed.

Tom Vercetti

Songs: How We Met, The Long Version, Crawl, Darling, Opera House, and Power are all nice from your last two sets. Been meaning to get into Your Old Droog for a while and Benjamin Booker was a nice addition (I only know him cuz someone made a Witness troll thread some days back :priceless:) Gonna check some of the other picks out :heart2:

170. Gang of Youths - What Can I Do If The Fire Goes Out? (Indie Rock)

5306866008885b16e4e7009c7c0d1fbb.630x630

Spoiler

I love the percussion and how energetic this track is. If you're a fan of The National then checks this out.

169. Sam O.B - Revolve (Pop)

sam-OB-300x300.png

Spoiler

An 80s inspired pop tune. I love the sound of this, but I wish some of the lyrics were more coherent.

168. Jlin - Holy Child (Footwork)

ziq376-jlin-cover.jpg

Spoiler

I don't know much about footwork music but what I do know is that Holy Child mixes the right kind of sounds (vocal samples, drums, etc) for it to initiate a successful groove in my head.

167. The Magnetic Fields - '83: Foxx and I (Indie Pop)

71b909a6.jpg

Spoiler

I've been following this group ever since I heard their gigantic 69 love songs album and I didn't know how a followup title to that would compete. Out of the 50 songs it had, my favorite was 83 since it had the most interesting composition to me.

166. Phoenix - J-Boy (Indie Pop)

Spoiler

I intiially wasn't feeling this when it first came out but overtime I couldn't resist how catchy it was.

165. Tei Shi - How Far (Alt Pop)

Spoiler

Keep Running is usually the more popular choice for Tei Shi but I'm more into the bass on this one along with the breathy vocals.

164. Immolation -  Lower (Death Metal)

812094J5glL._SY355_.jpg

Spoiler

Immolation has been a part of the death metal wave since the early 90s and more than 20 years in the scene, they're still able to maintain signs of quality. Their riffs are slightly addicting for me.

163. Porter Ricks - Port Of Tangency (Dub Techno)

TRESOR295-Artwork.jpg

Spoiler

I end up enjoying all the songs that have "port of" from this dude (especially Port Gentil). There's captivating textures and wavy synths that creates an appealing arrangement of sounds.

162. Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith - To Feel Your Best (Ambient Pop)

Spoiler

I enjoy how layered this track is. The soft melodies are icing on the cake as it adds on a lush experience.

161. Fabiana Palladino - Mystery (Synthpop)

Fabiana-Palladino.jpg

Spoiler

One of the first releases of the Paul institute, which offers a secret vocal background from Jai Paul himself. The thunder effect in the first few seconds that kicks off the song was a nice touch and Fabiana's vocals are tuned well enough.

160. Mondo Grisso - ラビリンス (J-Pop/Dance)

20170315-mondogrosso.jpg

Spoiler

ラビリンス has appealing dancepop production along with mellow singing. The video for it is also a highlight :jamming:

159. Dirty Projectors ft Dawn Richard - Cool Your Heart (Glitch Pop)

Dirty_Projectors_2017_album_cover.jpg

Spoiler

I admit I thought this was a mess at first due to its production, but in the long run its playful nature added a charm to the song that many others on the album couldn't provide.

158. Drab Majesty - Kissing The Ground (Post Punk/Gothic Rock)

7740959.jpeg

Spoiler

A nod to the retro goth style of the 80s, Kissing The Ground best represents its parent album in terms of execution.

157. Corbin - All Out (Alt R&B)

4d9b0014325a96a5d8dd0c96755dd657.600x600x1.jpg

Spoiler

Corbin (FKA Spooky Black)'s voice is yet another acquired taste, and for those that don't mind the husky/rasp voice that offers emotion (similarly to King Krule/Yellow Days). All Out for me is a production highlight and I would say is the most "radio-friendly" track that he provides.

156. TR/ST - Bicep (Synthpop/Darkwave)

331590427.jpg

Spoiler

The mix of industrial and pop elements creates an engaging mix (with support of that melodic chorus) that one may possibly dance to.

Honestly, Little Bubble is my 2nd favorite, followed by Up in Hudson. Dawn carried the edge tho.

Holy Child is certainly interesting. I hear a lot going on but overall it works. Been seeing Jlin get a lot of acclaim so if Holy Child is anything to go by, I can see why! Cool Your Heart is also a nice track too :alexz3:

Cool Your Heart is great. the fact i love about is visuals. and it a bit gave me fka twigs feels, but maybe it's just me.

Gonna keep up with the 15 song per day method until I reach a certain amount :fan:

Cool Your Heart is great, it really brightened up the album and Dawn is always appreciated. How Far is a nice pick, I agree that it is (slightly) better than Keep Running. Great video too!

I love Phoenix it was featured on spotify and I couldn't stop listening to it!
