Mark Rih Posted December 15, 2017 Posted December 15, 2017 Quote Come through with the faux deep bops mama. I love this too nn
K$Ellie Posted December 15, 2017 Posted December 15, 2017 Getaway Car is cute but it's not in my top 10 from the album Bitches grew on me a lot, such a bop 3AM is nice Save It Til Morning is trash and so is Hey Hey Hey but at least that's like a guilty pleasure
Remmy Posted December 16, 2017 Posted December 16, 2017 Hey Hey Hey messed up this set 3AM (Pull Up) goes off, whew! Getaway Car and Bitches are great mmm @Tove: "One lyric alone makes this the best song of her career I'll let you guess which" It better be the eat my [blank] out one, and not the random shoutout to a crumbling group
Diet Pepsi Posted December 16, 2017 Author Posted December 16, 2017 35-This song is the Tumblr aesthetic Halsey thinks she serves. Makes me want to go for a walk in a forest and take polaroid pictures. 34-I started off hating this song but it really grew on me when I realized how much I (sadly) relate to it. Usually spin it during my 3am mental breakdowns. 33-Elvis Presley died so Miley could rise. I think this could have been a great second single with an amazing video. Too bad she wanted to throw her career away to sit in a spinning chair. 32-A club anthem. Ally’s little purrs are absolutely everything ,truly a SONG 31-“The tears and the trauma and the ****ing melodrama” is one of my personal favorite lyrics of the year. Mix that with the stellar production and that’s the reason it’s on this list.
Remmy Posted December 16, 2017 Posted December 16, 2017 Finding You mmm Liability is beautiful, I've seen other people say they hated it at first and I don't get how. Sober II is my least favorite from Melodrama but it's still great. The album remains a masterpiece with or without it.
Dom Posted December 16, 2017 Posted December 16, 2017 week without is an amazing song, i loved miley's performance of it on fallon, made me love it even more. Liability is great, everything by lorde this year is.
Diet Pepsi Posted December 17, 2017 Author Posted December 17, 2017 30-A dark bop that Taylor tried to recreate with reputation but fell immensely flat on. 29-This song makes me want to go and eat grass. Such an amazing ballad. This deserves endless radio play. 28-Makes me want to take small doses of various drugs. Hearing this live really was a religious experience. 27-After Taylor’s first 3 duds I completely ruled her out but she released this and my faith was (kinda) restored. Absolutely breathtaking 26-The song that helped Demi FINALLY achieve a musical identity. I can just picture an amazing music video in my head.
Diet Pepsi Posted December 17, 2017 Author Posted December 17, 2017 I’m kinda ready to move onto singles so I’m attempting to speed things up a bit 25-This song is such a banger and the whispering invented ASMR culture. Lorde is truly a trendsetter 24-The closest we got to Bangerz Miley and of course it goes the **** off. Ahh what could’ve been if she followed this direction more. Try again next time cowgirl 23-I originally checked for this song solely because of Lauren but their voices just blend so beautifully together. Halsey defiantly held her own,no release it as single #3. 22-This song just sounds like tears and it’s amazingly beautiful. The second verse is my favorite thing Zara has ever done. I would do absolutely anything to experience this song live. 21-If you couldn’t tell by now I love songs with moody lyrics and somewhat upbeat production. This song just reminds me of rainbow color paint for some reason and I have no idea why. 20-Dua is at her best when she is ending douchebags. If this really is her next single I hope this is a hit for her. 19-The Shaggy sample in this song works a lot better than I could have ever expected it to. Although most people aren’t that big of a fan I think it’s beautiful and a great visual would give it justice. 18-Part one of All Your Fault really proved that Bebe works fantastically when she does urban music. There’s just something about the energy of this song that you just want to replay it again and again. The pre-chorus is also super brilliant. 17-I can’t beleive there was ever a time that I didn’t know The Weeknd co-wrote this, his influence is super clear. Halsey’s vocals work super well and the melody is amazing. 16-I have no idea why I connect with this song so much but I ****ing love it. I think it’s the perfect song to listen to on a rainy day in the car. This deserved to be more than a Hot AC single and that makes me SAD.
shelven Posted December 17, 2017 Posted December 17, 2017 (edited) Sober, Strangers and Eyes Closed Messy is cute, but it's higher up on this list than it deserves to be tbh Edited December 17, 2017 by shelven
K$Ellie Posted December 17, 2017 Posted December 17, 2017 Finding You, Garden and Liability are like my least favorite songs on those albums Small Doses was cute Call It What You Want and Ruin The Friendship Strangers is overrated but still amazing Sober, Thinkin' and Eyes Closed Messy and IDGAF are nice Funeral is almost decent but I'll never forgive her for including it over Permission and Wanna
Dom Posted December 17, 2017 Posted December 17, 2017 i love the amount of miley songs in your list, at least someone gets it. slay. bebe, zara, lorde, dua all queens and queens of slay. minus zara's full album.
Mr. Loco Posted December 17, 2017 Posted December 17, 2017 Messy, Sauced up, Call it what you want, Save as draft
Diet Pepsi Posted December 17, 2017 Author Posted December 17, 2017 15-Okay so this may have technically have been a single for a week but I don’t count that trash remix . This was my instant favorite from Melodrama and it still packs a punch. Definitely could have been an effective lead single. 14-Who thought the combination of Charli and Cupcakke could work so well? This is exactly what the gays needed in 2017 and it makes me want to slut drop every single time I hear it. Such a shame that the follow up wasn’t even remotely as good. 13-This song probably wouldn’t have been on this list had I not attended Witness:The Tour. This song was deemed overrated as hell by me but once I saw the tour it finally hit me. This song is CLASSIC Katy and I agree it could have been able to turn around this disastrous era for her. 12-Another case of an artist giving the gays everything they want. The darkish lyrics complement the unicorn beat really well and make this song uphoric. This song is a large part of the reason I turned from an obsessed Demi hater to a little more than a casual fan. Please release this as a single Demitra 11-For everyone who says “Rainbow” is boring they’ve clearly never listened to this song. Kesha clearly demonstrates that she still has a little bit of fun, free spirited Kesha from her Ke$ha era and pulls it off amazingly. The way she sings “I have boys in every country code” could literally cure all cases of HIV in the world.
prézli Posted December 17, 2017 Posted December 17, 2017 Boots Roulette Save As Draft So many of my faves.
shelven Posted December 17, 2017 Posted December 17, 2017 Homemade Dynamite And Boots is FANTASTIC, probably my favourite song on Rainbow
Navyofbadgals Posted December 17, 2017 Posted December 17, 2017 you're moving so fast Boots what a song, simple yet effective
Remmy Posted December 18, 2017 Posted December 18, 2017 Roulette Garden, Thinkin', IDGAF, Save As Draft, Lipgloss, Boots One Missisippi, Ruin the Friendship, I Can't Fall..., Funeral, Eyes Closed Homemade Dynamite + Call It What... - but "After Taylor’s first 3 duds" ummm?!?! Sober and Strangers Daddy Issues Demetria went OFF for sure!
Mark Rih Posted December 18, 2017 Posted December 18, 2017 I love some Zara love Quote I can’t beleive there was ever a time that I didn’t know The Weeknd co-wrote this, his influence is super clear. yep, that's why it's a great song
TheWayWeWere Posted December 18, 2017 Posted December 18, 2017 some bops here Boots, Daddy Issues, Homemade Dynamite, Sober, Ruin the Friendship, Strangers, WWY, Finding You all among my favorite tracks from albums I find Liability is kidna overrated tho
Diet Pepsi Posted December 18, 2017 Author Posted December 18, 2017 10-Demitra absolutely demolished every last frolicale of hair in my head with this one. If SNS could peak in the top 10 this deserves to be #1. Demi proves that when she tries she can really be THAT bitch. Probably my favorite Demi song of all time. 9-The meaning of this song is extremely beautiful and the lyrics could cut glass. The fact she wrote this in rehab really brings the quality of the song up as well. A beautiful hymn that everyone needs to hear. 8-This could probably be at #1 had they come up with an actual chorus instead of “Lonely” repeated time after time again. The bridge of this song is probably in my top 3 moments on the album and they invented independence. 7-When the album first came out I deemed this as the boring filler. When I went back and revisited it I saw how beautiful it really is. The raw emotion really works well for 5H & the vocals on this song are some of their best ever. Who told them they could snap like that? 6-Oh Katy, this was your 10th #1 that was waiting to happen. This song feels like classic pop and it feels like it takes me to another universe. These are Katy’s best lyrics of all time and I am completely in love with this song. #JusticeForWitness
