I like Sit Next to Me a bit more as a song, but Doing It for the Money had more of an impact on me over the year so that's why it's higher.

For Lorde to top Pure Heroine seemed like an impossible feat - and then she did exactly that, and with her sophomore album of all albums. Absolutely phenomenal. 

 

Then to see Kesha, who was forced into creating and sustaining a very cheap party-trick-esque persona for her entire career, finally emerge truly like a phoenix from the ashes with this kick-ass song was TRULY a moment! "Praying" is amazing, and Rainbow was a great return to form. Love her.

Right  Miss Yelich-O'Connor and Miss Sebert went ALL the way off... couldn't have asked for better comebacks.
