The 14 Acts With Three Simultaneous Top 10 Hits

TattooedDreams

Recommended Posts

There have been 14 acts that have had three of their songs in the Hot 100 Top 10 at once

Quote

Among all artists, The Chainsmokers are the 14th act with at least three Hot 100 top 10s in the same week. Justin Bieber had last earned the honor, for 10 weeks (Dec. 5, 2015-Feb. 6, 2016) with "Love Yourself," "Sorry" and "What Do You Mean?"

The Chainsmokers were the last one and Cardi should be the next

The Beatles and Bee Gees too.

Beyond only women, an act claiming at least three top 10 spots on the Hot 100 at the same time is scarce. The others: the Beatles logged a record five for two weeks (April 4, 11) in 1964; 50 Cent and T-Pain each scored as many as four top 10s at a time; and Akon, the Bee Gees, Chris Brown, Lil Wayne and Usher have each tallied three, bringing the total to just 12 acts upon the additions of Grande and Azalea this week.

Whitney Houston just barely missed this feat twice with her 1993 Bodyguard era, as she had 3 songs in the Top 11 for 2 weeks in a row -- I Will Always Love You, I'm Every Woman, and I Have Nothing, not in that order though. I think Nothing was #11 the week Always was at #7, then Nothing moved into the Top 10 when Always fell to #11. I'm Every Woman was well within in the Top 10 both weeks.

I remember when Fiddy was a big thing for a few years lol.

and Chris achieved this twice. He really was on track to be #1 Pop Boy of the digital age until he messed it up. He pretty much got replaced by Bieber in the queue.

Sis Chris is still that bitch... he just doesn't cater to you pop fans anymore but he still racks multiple RIAA platinum and gold awards on a daily basis. The man won.

Breh, what? I am a pop fan but that's not all I am. Don't lump me in with the average ignant ATRL'er. I'm well aware of his successes this decade (some of which are dance pop hits btw lol) but it is true that he doesn't have the stock he did. He WAS on track to be bigger pre-incident, like the male counterpart to Rih. I brought up Bieber because the industry coincidentally shuffled him in the same year Chris fell, with his debut image and sound watered down.
