Its considered a remix...to which she shouldn't get credited.

Sam Smith had two versions because one was for charity.

And the remix version is substantially outperforming the original in both pure sales and streams. She 100% should be credited, because her version is the reason why it's going to #1. There have been many, many, instances where remixes have been released and the two versions combined, with the remix given the chart credit. This is not an unusual thing.

5mil gap and counting on YouTube

Youtube isn't factored in, but even if it was, the audio is projected to do 37 million for the week, so I'm sure that would have closed some of that gap, too.

And to respond to your "jumping on already popular songs", Ed asked her in May to record, and she finished it in September, just FYI

Not E and B dominate the chart like that :deadbanana2:

If it wasn't for that so-called Rita friend, she would've tied Cheryl & Jess Glynne this week. :'(

Not these christmas songs slaying already :rip:

To be fair, if it's a remix then it shouldn't be counted separately. You don't see dance remixes being counted separately or other hip hop remixes with rappers, it's generally the original song.

I think some people are just pissed because the "Remix" contains a certain someone.

Considering her version is substantially outperforming the original in both pure sales and streaming, why wouldn't we want her to be credited? It's her version that is going to #1.

Rita Ora fifth #1 shouldn't die because of Ed f****** Sheeran from everyone. If only Beyoncé was credited

Despacito wasn't originally credited to Justin either but he was credited in the end

They played the Beyonce version on the official chart update on the radio and obviously credited her then

There isn't any need to try and argue with trolls to prove Beyonce is deserving of the credit - it's obvious :michael:

Poor Rita. Her song would've finally gone to #1 after weeks behind Havana but Ed has to come in and block her :dies:

The remix version alone has enough points to be #1 this week. :ahh:

You can stop blaming Ed and Bey now. Rita has no chance next week even if the Duet wasn't released.

Rak-su would have blocked her.
