I thought the minion wins either when the werewolves win or when he is killed. Else theres not much diff between the minion and the tanner.

It only says "if you are executed, you win" though. It doesn't say anything about if an innocent person is killed then they win. But since you seem to know so much about the role, maybe it's you ?
