levi_valvi Posted November 25, 2017 Posted November 25, 2017 Thanks for this! Can you do Selena? I know Revival era was a radio darling but I would love to see the numbers. Also I'm kinda shook that Check On It had 6 weeks at #1, everyone seem to have forgotten about that song now

Ozzy8923 Posted November 25, 2017 Posted November 25, 2017 I Wanna Go: The song peaked atop the Pop Songs chart on September 24, 2011, becoming Spears' sixth single to top the chart, and setting a record for the longest span of number-one singles by an artist (12 years, seven months and four days). I don't know if Britney still holds this record. The article says either Madonna and Mariah would of surely had it but the Pop Songs chart launched in 1992.

She doesn't hold it anymore, since JT went #1 on Pop Radio with Can't Stop the Feeling in Summer 2016 and his first #1 was Rock Your Body in Spring 2003. But yeah, the chart didn't start until the end of 1992. Mariah and Madonna would've been had longer spans if it had existed their entire careers.

His span between #1's is even longer if we count N*SYNC. Also, you need to post Madonna and Mariah's runs! Edited November 25, 2017 by Ozzy8923

That's surprising.
