But he just seems to be more omnipresent as a popular and constant force in music. But saleswise he is not dwarfed by her. I think his music generally is just as popular. I think they are each stronger with certain demographics. Adeles real sales advantage lies with older folk. Sales are the only way to "measure" who's bigger. He is no way dwarfed by Adele, I wouldn't be surprised if his next album outsells Adele's, he tends to hop on current music trends and make blatant copies of his previous hits because he knows what his public wants. That's why SOY is more popular than HELLO. In any case, nobody comes even close to his success during 2017 in the UK.

Completely, he has longevity on the radio/ singles charts/streaming... Significantly more then her. It should come as no surprise that she probably has more fans in the older demographic (more likely to buy albums) and him in the younger.

blackbeatxx Posted November 25, 2017 Posted November 25, 2017 Whatever the case, there's necer been a clearer queen and king over some years as with Adele and Ed in UK. Un-debatable
MARTYN Posted November 25, 2017 Posted November 25, 2017 If Ed and Adele released singles and albums at the same time, Adele would be number 1. No question. She sells out tours quicker, too. She's obviously bigger.
Serendipity Posted November 25, 2017 Posted November 25, 2017 Wow only on ATRL would you see people say Ed is bigger than Adele

Ed writes songs for other artists and is always doing collabs as well. Adele relases about one single per era and ****s off after the album comes out. So I'm not surprised he "seems" to be more of a constant force.
TheWayWeWere Posted November 25, 2017 Posted November 25, 2017 omg, I'm so happy for my girl Paloma she truly deserves it
