@Hiphopper Seeing these stats are so sweet. She is one of the best selling female artists of all time in 3 major music markets: UK, Australia and Germany.

She is only underappreciated/ underrated in the US because as I have mentioned in Base's thread, the US doesn't have a strong punk culture like the German speaking countries so her music and her image/personality don't appeal to Americans.

Her Funhouse (song and music video) truly shows her punky image/music, I love that song and video so much!

Actually I'm secretly happy for her not doing that well in the U.S. compares to those Europe countries and Oceania, she's doing good enough to sell a good album numbers and selling out stadiums but still keeps her crown as the Queen of the Underdogs~ :alexz:

So Raise Your Glass!

All My Underdogs!

Selling out US stadiums!

23 years and still top pure sales chart!

(I love the way she shaded streaming once by posting on her Insta about the lack of royalties for streaming. She is self-aware that her fanbase BOUGHT her albums instead of streaming for free.

We and most of her fans are in age range 40-50. She is a part of the Y2K MTV generation (2000-2002) along with Britney and Xtina. We all watched her music video on MTV. Monoculture was so fun back then.

CTMH wasn't released in Asia initially. Missunderstood is technically her debut album outside the Anglosphere.

I think I've heard most girls on radio before, but yes there was no promote. She became a huge star in Asia after GTPS

Now she'll have a bunch of songs reaching 200 mil.

Beautiful Trauma, Blow Me, True Love, One Too Many and Trustfall will all do it pretty close to each other.
