Taylor biggest drop on Radio Songs history

Rounding out the Hot 100's top 10, Taylor Swift's former three-week No. 1 "Look What You Made Me Do" tumbles 4-10. As "Look" drops from No. 1 to No. 7 on Pop Songs, marking the steepest fall from the top in the chart'sĀ 25-year history, it concurrently plunges from No. 5 (its peak) to No. 20 on Radio Songs, where it's likewise the biggest fall from the top five since the chart began in 1990; it passes the 5-16 descent of Kanye West's "Gold Digger," featuring Jamie Foxx (Dec. 24, 2005).

Well, she's already about to release her epic video for her second single, so this doesn't surprise me.

how does this even make sense when someone like bieber could have sorry/love yourself or I'm the one/despacito smashing on radio simultaneouslyĀ

Pop radio tends to keep songs in rotation even after they've peaked or a new single is the artist/label's focus. And Taylor's second single has been receiving airplay on pop and HAC radio concurrent with LWYMMD for weeks now, before it was officially a single.

Ā

A drop of this magnitude is alarming, to say the least.
