The prediction was very off this week, you guys had her at 21 and she was only 26, Ed was lower as well. Why are you mad at chart predictors? They are neither being paid for doing predictions nor they ask you to do something as an exchange for what they're doing. SMH.
Sting Like Bey Posted October 18, 2017 Posted October 18, 2017 With SNS currently exploding on pop can it go higher than #8??

Exodus Posted October 18, 2017 Posted October 18, 2017 (edited) I LOVE when random songs that were thought to be long dead make its way onto the charts for no reason! 95. MAX "Lights Down Low" WTF. This song was released in March 2016 and he's had so many singles since then (one that had a video come out last week). What's the reason for this? Is he going to promote it? It's his best song. fridayteenage Posted October 18, 2017 Posted October 18, 2017 I didn't know that Worth It only had one week in the sales T10. It feels like the gp would view it as not much less popular than Work from Home. ...I wonder when Ed will try to snatch #1 with a music video premiere. Maybe when it's built a lot of airplay?

If it continues this trend I say it should go higher then #8. It can easily gain another 30M in airplay and possibly up to 40M. It has tons of room to grow on pop still and if HAC and Rythmic continue to support it. Usually #1's on pop get between 105M-120M in audience. Obviously some are lower like LWYMMD and some are higher like SOY at its peak.
EyesOnMe Posted October 18, 2017 Posted October 18, 2017 Quote The Fader has reported on a YouTube clip that purportedly helped Post Malone’s “rockstar” hit #1 on the Billboard Hot 100. The video in question, an audio clip of the Republic artist's smash featuring 21 Savage that contains only a loop of the song’s chorus and runs for 3:38—the same length as the actual track—raises a number of concerns about YouTube’s reporting and Billboard’s chart protocols. The clip has earned some 42m+ streams. The track had been #2 on the chart and recently knocked Atlantic's Cardi B from the top perch. http://m.hitsdailydouble.com/news&id=308916 a mess

I liked it so I asked what's the name of the song so and now I stream it on Spotify premium

diamondsky Posted October 18, 2017 Posted October 18, 2017 I don’t understand why the audio video thing is a big deal. Wouldn’t rockstar be #1 with a fat margin anyway? And even if it’s just the chorus, people are still listening to it

It's not like they looped 5 seconds over and over. A whole 40+ second chorus is played. Just from hearing the chorus once, that's a valid view.

Believer is too loud and they scream too much. Thunder is just a trash song in general that alienates completely from their sound. I honestly don’t know why they’re charting so well. They are big only because they get HEAVY promo from tv commercials.
