Why are people surprised that Confident outselling CFTS. It's in almost every movie trailer I've seen over the past 2 years. And it's in most commercials. :dies:

This pretty much

I'm not even suprised to see it, it's literally in almost every movie trailer (and sometimes it's part of the movie itself)

I don't get how people says Selena is way too bigger than Demi when they are sold the same:

Selena

24.3 million songs and 3.4 million albums

Demi

20.8 million sonds and 2.4 million albums

Lackluster sales.

She has sold 22M records in around 10 years.... ? :rip:

And ppl are still saying Demi is on par with Selena...

Lovato has sold 20.8 million song downloads.

Lovato's career U.S. album sales stand at 2.4 million.

Gomez has sold 24.3 million songs and 3.4 million albums.

Aside from Demi selling fewer albums, they're about the same.

Fewer albums, fewer singles, fewer Top 10 hits, fewer youtube clicks, fewer streaming data.

Those singles sales are missing "It Ain't Me," "Bad Liar," and "Fetish" so approximately 1.25 million, I'd say? In addition to a few more albums she's sold as a result in the past 5 months.  Demi's also released 6 studio albums and 26 singles while Selena's only released 5 studio albums and 21 singles.

Not great numbers but I'm very impressed at her early discography considering Disney really didn't capitalize on hype well when she was on Camp Rock.

3.4M as compared to 2.4M. 1M is a lot :cm: not to mention selena also outstreamed demi :fan:

Ι don't know why people are surprised with album sales, demi never was a big album seller

Selena may have sold more, but she's still in the same tier as Demi. The difference is really not that big :rip: Let's not.

Exactly so she’s easily done 30M equivalent single sales and 4M+ album sales with SPS

The difference between Demi and Selena is not that much and it really surprises me considering HWR didn't send Demi's songs to radios pre-Unbroken unlike Selena who has had radio support since Naturally... :celestial5:

To be fair, Selena's Hollywood Records singles were also messed up. Love You Like A Love Song is a 4xPlatinum hit and it only peaked outside Top 20 Hot 100 because HR didn't send the song for radio adds after 6 months into release. :rip:

The messiest of a mess was Here We Go Again, it peaked at #15 Hot 100 without any radio play :rip:

Both girls' track sales are okay overall but Selena's are way more impressive than Demi's.
