I mean, Malibu spent 2 weeks in the top 20 (and 8 more between 20-40), so I guess it did ok. But it stopped charting a while ago.

Shania used to be a main pop girl but has now graduated to legend.

But she's not even a pop girl? She has always been a country girl

She was one of the first artist that successfully crossed over from country to pop. Her biggest hit is a pop song though.

That's a great showing from Tom Petty.  Tom was never the superstar, but the consummate rocker.

a  #2 showing, matches his best performance on the Bb200 during the heyday of his career in the 70s and 80s.- Except the late career 2014 release, Hypnotic Eye, thst went #1.

he also never had a #1 hit, instead landing a handful of top 10s on the Hot 100.

a #2 just seems appropriate and nicely sums up his career. Always there to perform.

I love that analysis.  So true.  :heart2:

With no physical release till a week or two later. She would’ve easily done 200k+

Shocked at Miley. But the album is horrible. I miss her old stuff. Happy for Demi. :clap3:

Yes sis. A digital only release makes a big difference, especially in January 2016, nearly 2 years ago. It was still at a time physicals sold quite well for big artists like her. So let’s not.

Girl, there would've been lots of other factors take into account too. For example, Digital sales might've been lower if she had released physical cds (because the sales might've have slipped). It is not like the fans wouldn't buy the album if there are no physical cds. The point is you don't know what would've happened at all. So let's not.

Let’s not. If any artists releases digital only you’ll know their sales will be lower. Stop making excuses. Her other albums all sold 200k+ even within eras being months apart from each other. There’s no doubt her sales would be higher with physical sales with Anti because the awesome booklet, the amazing artwork, and her audience being half GP and stans buying the physical. No need to argue here.

:ahh:

Girl, i'm not the one who is making excuse. You're the one who is making excuse. AnTi sold 124k first week, that's fact. Using no physical sales is an excuse. Make it clear. You can keep using that excuse to make you feel better yet doesn't change the fact it opened with 124k.

Shania had bigger first week sale is also fact. I'll stop this meaningless fight here. It is funny that i was just joking around then someone took it too seriously :rip:

I'm going to say that Miley's numbers are great, so that I can follow up with saying that 5H's numbers are great, as well. :clap3:

Miley Cyrus's numbers are tragic.... I kinda feel sorry for her.
