The forebrain consists of the telencephalon, among others.  The frontal lobe is part of the telencephalon.

Therefore, the forebrain is among the three major parts of the brain (forebrain, midbrain, and hindbrain), that is, a general region, whereas the frontal lobe is a specific region of the brain.

In simpler terms, the forebrain is not the frontal lobe.

PinkBox tried it.

I'm coming back from my Biology test so thanks for this free lesson, sir.

Let me pray your spirit took over when I was answering the questions.

When one has numbers rather than letters, one can't use juxtaposition, since it would give the appearance of a single decimal number.

@Shelven

Would berkeley lie?

Also, Multiplication and Division are equal. If both appears, do them left to right. Thats how you get 18! Glad most of us were smart.

Sis did you even read the whole article? The entire point of this article is that the use of the "/" symbol makes the question ambiguous, and therefore either answer can be considered correct depending on how you interpret it :rip:

Even the last sentence of the paragraph you quoted says: "But when it comes to  a/bc,  where the operations belong to the same family, the left-to-right order suggests doing the division first, while the "unseparated letters" notation suggests doing the multiplication first; so neither choice is obvious."

The line you quoted isn't suggesting that the entire concept of juxtaposition doesn't apply to numbers, it's just suggesting that you can't literally put the two numbers side by side with nothing in between them like you could with letters. But adding the parentheses solves that. If you subbed in "a" for the 2+1 in the question, then the question would be "12/2a", and then multiplication by juxtaposition applies and you divide 12 by the group of "2a", which would be 6, and thus 12/6=2. And the reason you can do that is because of the ambiguous / symbol instead of there being better parentheses use, which is the point this article is trying to make.

There is not a single mention in that entire article of 18 (288 in this article's case) being the objectively correct answer, so if anything, you just proved my point that 2 is an acceptable answer. Thanks sis!
