I still don't get how the French question is supposed to be obvious.

 

I've been going back and forth with this, and came to two answers which would be considered 'obvious' for this question.

 

Answer 1.  This is a French food, not a French dish.  

Answer 2.  This is commonly and wrongly attributed as being a French dish.

 

Let me choose one of those dumb answers for obvious reasons.
