They did not have enough budget to film in HD, like you would expect. Still, you start with Season 1 and grow up with the show. It's so rewarding to see the improvements as you go along and feel a sense of "started from the bottom now we're here." Plus, there are All-Stars seasons, so watching them chronologically is more convenient to understand some references. But I understand why someone like you, Kathlen, who focuses on Selena Gomez and Rihanna in her signature, but has an Ariana Grande avatar instead, would start a show in its 9th season.
