I kind of agree, it doesn't deserve to flop, but tha competition has been shoving her down.

Don't worry, Castle On the Hill has been ahead of Shape of You for 11 weeks and that likely won't be changing  Plus it's apparently the next US single (though I thought they were already duel singles dd) so that will help ha out.

That week I listened to the album for the first time in soo long and I actually enjoyed it more than my first listen. I completely forgot how Haunting sounded, it's v nice.

I actually agree The Edge of Glory is my favorite song of all time so it should've snatched that

Yes  LMLYD's debut was a messy time, I think I took a month break or something right after it went #1. Plus I have a knack for putting frontloaded #1s that can ruin certain song's streaks. The king always gets you mad!
