If she did ~120k SPS the first week I was thinking 40-50k SPS second week, should be enough for #1. She’s still top 5 on iTunes.

you should know that sales are poor rn. being in the top 5 on iTunes might not mean she'll sell more than 15k and her sis isn't very good i think

QOTSA only sold 91K in 2013, in what world will their album block 5H?

what do you expect from 5h? because even if qotsa will do half of 91k, still more than 5k.

i think 20k for 5h will be lucky

Kendrick damn.

5H isn't going #1 with QOTSA

Wonder how Kodak will do. Haven't listened all the way through but from what I've heard it's MUCH better than Painting Pictures (which is still in the T20 albums of the year SPS iirc)

5th Harmony did 71k SPS (49k pure) at their peak with a smash hit last year. They will be lucky to do half of that this year even with VMA promo :skull:

Kendrick will probably block them too (he's performing and winning Video of the year at the VMA's too).

NEW RELEASES: BRAND NEW'S PUNK MOVE (UPDATE)

Quote

Brand New’s Science Fiction, released wide on Saturday, will debut at #1. Released on their Procrastinate! Music Traitors label, this is the band’s first album in eight years. It will also be their last.

The emo band out of Long Island confirmed their break-up with a T-shirt indicating they were calling it quits in 2018.

Brand New previously peaked at #6 with 2009’s Daisy(DGC/Interscope). The new album is currently #1 at iTunes and in Amazon’s Digital Music store.

Our projection, based on limited info, is 56-61k SPS, 55-60k album. Other projections:

Neck Deep (Hopeless) 26-30k SPS, 24-27k album
Dave East (Def Jam) 15-20k SPS, 11-14k
Grizzly Bear (RCA) 10-13k, 9-11k
A$AP Ferg (RCA) 9-12k, 4-5k

In political news, the President reportedly will not be participating in the Kennedy Center Honors, on the grounds that Kennedy was his least-favorite veejay.
