But I am 100% sure that I can't achieve the grandeur or the most basic Florence song. So maybe I'll go the Dolly route because storytelling is I know where I do good. Mezik Posted September 4, 2017 Share Posted September 4, 2017 I am struggling to decide who to write for, because after the last two rounds I feel my song writing capabilities have took quite a slump compared to a few years ago when I wrote on the regular. Dolly seems like my first choice, just because my writing is generally influenced by my favourite country singers (Carrie, Kacey, Miranda) and story telling is such a huge component. But like others mentioned, she's so hard to imitate. Biggest issue now moving forward is lack of confidence and inspiration, I feel perhaps Amy I could write something for but I know there's no way I could do 21P or Florence.
