Cheers Posted August 19, 2017 Posted August 19, 2017 iTunes U.S 1. Friends 2. Despacito (+1) 16 weeks @ #1 here we come
iHype. Posted August 19, 2017 Author Posted August 19, 2017 If Despacito hits 17 weeks, it will be time to acknowledge "Near You"'s record.

Was smashing I brought up evidence that Near You actually didn't spend 17 weeks. It had 17 on a component chart but nowhere near 17 on the other component charts. It also only hit 11 or 13 weeks iirc on the then Top 10 Overall chart (I forget the exact name - you can search it in old ass Billboard magazines that are publicly available online)
Torturo Posted August 19, 2017 Posted August 19, 2017 So if Taylor snatches #1 debut how much weeks at #1 will Despacito have?

Morea Posted August 19, 2017 Posted August 19, 2017 Taylor needs to hurry up and release her lead single, we can’t make this garbage break Mariah’s record

Hurem Posted August 19, 2017 Posted August 19, 2017 Taylor might debut at #1, but Despacito is going #1 the week after.

Blue Honeymoon Posted August 19, 2017 Posted August 19, 2017 Taylor will debut at #1 unquestionably, but I think Cardi B will snatch the top spot the week after.
JosephT Posted August 19, 2017 Posted August 19, 2017 It's getting more exciting right now, especially for next week on award
Kots Posted August 19, 2017 Posted August 19, 2017 Not people doubting Taylor's power to stay atop on her second week
FanOfPop Posted August 19, 2017 Posted August 19, 2017 If I'm correct and Taylor will debut at #1 she will become the first solo artist to do so with three songs right?

My OCD likes this. Sucks for rihanna tho lol
