mowino Posted August 14, 2017 Posted August 14, 2017 Would this be a 5th week at # 2 for Wild Thoughts?

They have to pay per stream. Free streams or not. And here's no advantage to him being "kept" in the top five. Especially paying him per stream, and getting no ad or sub revenue. The urban community are actually listening to Meek album. ATRL wouldn't know anything about that though.

Jeezy - Trap or Die 3 2. Kenny Chesney - Cosmic Hallelujah Nnn, they need to learn how to pick a good release date. This is an excellent move for Kenny Chesney tbh. It is the CMA Awards week and he was a recipient of a special award, which would give him tremendous exposure. It is a shame he and P!nk cannot perform Setting the World on Fire there though. Also Kenny Chesney did lead the HDD's SPS chart (which is the same case as Brett Eldredge here)
Kings. Posted August 14, 2017 Posted August 14, 2017 Come thru SZA I better see Ctrl amongst the other AOTY nominees come December.
brianc33710 Posted August 14, 2017 Posted August 14, 2017 BB just sent an email about Justin Bieber's song (with Bloodpop?) "Friends" coming out at noon this Thursday. If so, that could shake things up next week.

So, saying Brett has the #1 album this week is week is factual, since between BB and HDD Brett is #1 on 3/4 charts. Kendrick only leads 1/4.
One Nation Posted August 14, 2017 Posted August 14, 2017 What is this title? Isn't this the 14th week?
Sinister Posted August 14, 2017 Posted August 14, 2017 what's up with the Thursday releases? welp...his sales and airplay will be split but with a new song coming...Despacito could fall faster on radio

So, it'll be interesting to see if they discount the Despacito remix to give it the 16th week. With the morning performance this week, it'll get a boost. I don't know how much the boost would be though.
QueenBLadyG Posted August 14, 2017 Posted August 14, 2017 This country is going down such a horrible path!

Sinister Posted August 14, 2017 Posted August 14, 2017 Boyz II Men their record isn't safe they have the top 3 longest running #1s in the US Despacito either needs to spend 16 weeks or more...not 15
Mezter Posted August 14, 2017 Posted August 14, 2017 Impressive. Taylor and Bieber better hurry with them releases though
iHype. Posted August 14, 2017 Author Posted August 14, 2017 Last week that Mariah has the longest running #1 of all-time, and second longest running #1 of all-time. Last week Boyz II Men has the longest running #1 of all-time, second longest running #1 of all-time, and third longest running #1 of all-time.

Had it not been for Carrie Underwood's one week at #1 after winning AI, Carey would have second place too, 15 weeks. WBT was an airplay monster, but I still don't think it has reached 2 M downloads.
