WT has less than half as many daily YT views as Despacito. But that won't really matter if it overtakes it in airplay and sales, and Despacito decreasing hard on Spotify...

If you combine all versions for both songs, Despacito is still outselling WT on iTunes with a 3% lead right now... It's basically ahead everywhere but Spotify

As long as YT #s for Despacito are stable, the competition isn't  as strong as it seems

Despacito - 899k + 260k = 1,159k

Wild Thoughts -                     956k

 

Despacito still has a 200k lead over WT.

 

I think D will have at least a 100 point lead over WT this week.

Tbh it's the youtube lead that is doing the big damage. Sales, airplay, ODS... are all kind of close for Wild Thoughts now.

 

I was saying last week that WT needs a viral challenge on youtube to overcome that lead, and it seems DJK is working pretty hard to achieve that
