ARTPØP Posted August 7, 2017 Posted August 7, 2017 I feel like "Feel It Still" is this year's "Pumped Up Kicks" / "Safe and Sound" type indie/alt-pop smash. I feel like we haven't had a song like this take off in a while.
blackbeatxx Posted August 7, 2017 Posted August 7, 2017 A 15th week is prolly guaranteed but 17? Hmm forgettable needs to stall and WT to drop for that to happen

Mattyboy Posted August 7, 2017 Posted August 7, 2017 If Taylor's lead doesn't come out or a viral song doesn't come, Mariah is in serious trouble. Wild Thoughts isn't strong enough, unless they discount it Friday. If they discount both Despacito versions & they perform it's over.
One Nation Posted August 7, 2017 Posted August 7, 2017 Despacito - 580 points Wild Thoughts - 407 points Week 14: -45 +2 Week 15: -45 +1 Week 16: -45 -1 Week 17: -45 -3 - 400 points - 406 points This is actually giving Despacito the advantage, considering as the weeks go on, Despacito will likely start to lose 50+ points, while WT still has room to gain on radio! Without a discount, Wild Thoughts is so robbing Despacito of the record, and Rih getting ha 15th #1

QueenofCopyPaste Posted August 7, 2017 Posted August 7, 2017 Personally, I feel like Despacito will STOP at 15 weeks at #1, barring no discounts, Mariah always has that VOODOO going in when a song is near her record

Something will happen and they won't discount it and forget about it and they won't break it. I hate this lucky song so much.

Deemy Posted August 7, 2017 Posted August 7, 2017 Yes the gap is dropping. They might get the 16th week but the 17th week will be a fight. Come on Khaled do the discount in 2 weeks

QueenofCopyPaste Posted August 7, 2017 Posted August 7, 2017 Seems like Team Fonsi is staying on America starting that week...VMAS next?

Hector Posted August 7, 2017 Posted August 7, 2017 Quote Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee's Justin Bieber-augmented "Despacito" (UMLE/RBMG/Def Jam/Republic) will this week notch its 13th consecutive week as the #1-selling single in the land (and its 14th overall). The mega-smash has sold 2m total, and has garnered 335m audio streams, earning a song SPS tally of 4.2m. It's also on track to suprass Ed Sheeran's "Shape of You," which occupied the top spot for 11 weeks and has a song SPS total of 4.8m, in a matter of weeks. "Despacito" (original version) was also recently crowned the top-viewed video on YouTube, having amassed more than 3 billion views. Here's a fun game: See if you can guess, in the chart below, where the Bieber remix appeared. x
