Ok, Shape of You and That's What I Like were cute when they came out but I'm pretty sure that women who got pregnant around the weeks these two songs entered the top 10 are about ready to give birth. :deadbanana3:

Multiple posters

i remember when people were in a frenzy on insta because Cardi liked a post saying she had the highest charting solo female rap song and everyone was saying she was shady especially since it wasn't  true because RIYT was 61. It is now the highest chartering solo female rap song so the fumes were for nada:fan:

Girl no one really cares. Congrats and move on.

Katy's still benefitting heavily from CD tour bundles. :deadbanana:

Witness sales this week: 3,246

Physical: 2,867 (88.3%)

Digital: 379 (11.7%)

Other albums that have been out for a few months are selling 50-66% physical, and she's doing almost 90% physical still like her first week.

Others:

Lorde - 3,564

Physical: 2,180 (61.1%)

Digital: 1,384 (38.9%)

Halsey - 2,622

Physical: 1,395 (53.2%)

Digital: 1,227 (46.8%)

Chainsmokers - 2,319

Physical: 1,207 (52.0%)

Digital: 1,112 (48.0%)

Harry Styles - 6,184

Physical: 3,663 (59.2%)

Digital: 2,521 (40.8%)

Gosh would she have even sold 100k total without bundles :rip:

No one cares about the fake beef you're trying to insinuate.

And this is a public forum. I'll quote whoever I want whenever I want.

I'm not trying to insinuating a fake beef because I like both songs (RIU not RIYT). If you have a problem take it up with the one who asked the question not me :michael:

Slay me with your knowledge. I'm SHOOK!:alexz:

do you think without that stupid recurent rule, closer or other big hits would break imagine dragons record?

Uptown Funk would have come closest, approaching or possibly tying Jason Mraz' "I'm Yours" second-place 76-week run 2008-9. UF would've gotten 70-76 weeks. I think there may have been a time during weeks 71-75 UF may have dipped below 50, but I'm not sure. Regardless, after what would have been week 76, Prince passed away. The Top Four recurrent songs that week were by Prince, pushing UF down 1-5 on RSC (it had led 20-21 weeks). Those four songs reached the Top 50 the falling week, with more Prince Songs jumping over UF on the RSC. Also, by that week, Beyonce's songs debuted, which was followed by Drake's release week onslaught.

1 Despacito, Luis Fonsi & Daddy Yankee Featuring Justin Bieber

30 Mi Gente, J Balvin & Willy William

56 Felices Los 4, Maluma

71 Escapate Conmigo, Wisin Featuring Ozuna

91 Imitadora, Romeo Santos

92 Subeme La Radio, Enrique Iglesias Featuring Descemer Bueno, Zion & Lennox Or Sean Paul

94 El Amante, Nicky Jam

7 latin songs :jonny2:

------------------------------

Could Mi Gente and Bodak Yellow go top 20 next week?

Despacito will likely lead to more Latin songs getting mainstream airplay, remixes with popular English-speaking artists, and so forth. This happened in the very late 1990s and early 2000s (though with English songs by Latino artists). However, that trend will fade too. Remember, after FGL remixed Cruise with Nelly, a significant other Country artists remixed songs with Urban artists (including FGL a second time with J. Derulo), but nothing came close to Cruise's success.

Closer goes recurrent next week :'( an iconic run

But it's still only the second song in BB H100 history to spend its first 52 weeks within the Top 40. JT was pushed below 40 one week due to an album release.

SZA - Ctrl

Week 1: 60,000

Week 2: 30,000

Week 3: 28,000

Week 4: 25,000

Week 5: 24,000

Week 6: 23,000

Week 7: 23,000

Total: 213,000

If she keeps up this momentum she's going to be the first non-Beyonce/Rihanna female in R&B to have a Gold album since Jhene Aiko's 2013 album. :clap3:

I definitely see it happening. 5 more weeks doing 20Kish, 7 more weeks doing 15Kish, and then 10 weeks doing 10Kish will put her past 500k.

Good for her!

Kehlani isn't going to go Gold anytime soon though? :noparty:

She can go Gold, she's around 350K-400K ish. However her album is doing less than 4K per week since it's fell off Billboard 200, so she probably won't go Gold until 2018.
