Why would Tidal help those two artists? They don't have any connections to them. It only gets fishy when we're talking about artists involved with the project like Kanye and Jay. Anyway, these are absolutely terrible numbers for Meek, who has a very real chance of doing less than DC4—a mixtape—in a better climate for rap music.

At the same time, your explanation is exactly what still baffles me to this day how Honeymoon snatched 100k in pure sales, especially considering she gave up promoting during UV!

She's been way more active for L4L, so ugh, I can't believe it's doing even less than Paradise which opened with 67k (and outsold HM in the long run too).

I definitely overestimated her fanbase

I am not sure why it baffles you since she has done nothing in the US for this album aside from a listening party for her most devoted fans. You think anybody in the US cares that an artist they have not heard on radio for years or seen on TV for even more years is playing a rather small gig in London?

No, you got me wrong, I am still baffled about Honeymoon's first week performance back in 2015, landing 100k sales, that's my point. She did magazine interviews, a phone call thing, and... that's it right?

Plus, Tyler's album is actually pretty good, imo.

Not as good as Elizabeth's, but yeah... 8/10.
