Quote

"It’s very different from other Star Trek shows; there’s a lot more emotional and personal interaction than plot," Isaacs adds, talking more seriously about the show. "There’s a layered story that you aren’t used to in Star Trek. This is a complicated guy." - Jason Isaacs

LOVED it.

The angry nerds can seethe in their subreddits.

Annoyed at the

death though. She outshone the annoying lead & was a wasted opportunity.

Probably won't continue watching. The rest-of-the-season trailer was very ~CBS~ to me & not my thing.

I'm glad this is receiving nice review (ST usually get off to a rocky start). But they can't surely expect us to fork in money for their service :rip:

incredible opening, I'm hooked :jonny3:   Hate that

Spoiler

T'Kuvma is already over though, I liked the character

@Lee!! the rule below means that we can openly discuss episodes after they have aired in the US, right? Or does the Netflix rule apply? It's originally a tv show that airs in its main territory first, but also a Netflix series that's available exclusively through Netflix outside the US

Quote
  • TV: as soon as the episode airs in its main territory.
  • Netflix: one month after the season has been released.

To my knowledge the entire series isn't dropping all at once on Netflix internationally, and will be released week by week. So then it falls under the TV rules.

I don’t know how I feel about these new Klingons. They seem very wooden and different from TNG era Klingons.  I want to say that it’s their make-up and prosthetics that are hindering them from being more expressive, but then I think about the Ferengi on DS9 who had no problems emoting behind those masks and all that make-up. So I just think these new Klingons are being played that way on purpose.

All the Klingons have been different tbh. :rip:

Discovery Klingons are nothing like TOS Klingons who are nothing like TNG Klingons. :rip:

Doesn’t really bother me that much tho tbh.
