By the time she released it commercially a few days later, the album was illegally downloaded almost 800k+ times, or a little under that. LEAVE TIDAL ALONE, Mother of Rumi, Sir, and Blue. I think she would have done like 750-800k SPS with an immediate release. Now with a full week that could have been a milli 1 minute ago, Alonzo Harris said: 4:44 era is a mess. Émotif Fool
Looks like Lana is safe. He kind of killed all of his hype by not releasing it for sale the first week. Not y'all shading him with Anti when he'll probs sell more in the US than her.

He did promote this album thru Sprint (they bought the fake plat). Nobody expect him to do Adele numbers. Jay however did Big sean numbers with 4:44. Thats a flop. Big Sean's last album did 65K pure, 150K SPS.

Stop Yes Rihanna is a pop star, and newsflash - in 2017 Rap stars are the ones pulling the biggest numbers. You can't use him being a rapper as an excuse like Views wasn't the top album last year, and DAMN isn't the top one this year. Jay-Z's promotion this past week has been bigger than Rihanna's promotion during Anti's first weeks His entire album was played on Pop, Rhythmic, AND Urban radio. Unprecedented. He is doing just 10-15k more than Katy! Anyway nice numbers but stop making it look like he is untouchable He doesn't have a tour bundle so let's not. Katy's numbers would have been waay lower without it

Doubling this first week would be 350K total sales. Rap sales have been much more frotnloaded since 2013 and he probably won't be getting a Holy Grail sized hit.
