A conspiracy thread with no receipts and just speculation? I mean, they could be right but where's the proof?

And this has nothing to do with Greece and Cyprus voting for each other. As if either of them needs to buy SIM cards to give the other 12 points. There are other reasons why that happens but nothing shady behind it :ducky:

It took them 3 years and they are just now realizing that iconic miss Chanel, booty hypnotic from Spain is one of a kind and that they will NOT be getting close to that TOP 5 for a long, long time. For that, we have to be thankful to talented miss Chanel.

I have to laugh, Melody is punished by the Israeli lobby and this is the best thing you can say, really?

Especially when Chanel after Eurovision has been one of the biggest failures of the Spanish music industry

Oh no. Obviously I don't mean Cyprus <> Greece and vice versa lmao. That's been obvious for years now and no questions there. But it is weird to me that Azerbaijan, Slovenia, Portugal, and Moldova are giving their top scores to Cyprus of all countries... And obviously a random twitter user won't have any receipts hence why I said investigation not DQ :rip:

You just also mentioned greece, so I thought you meant the 12 point swapping

Also next year they need to make sure they actually show the damn scoreboard when they're announcing the jury points next. Not sure who's idea it was to remove it but I was genuinely going insane trying to see the points in the 2 seconds they'd show you it for after the 12 were announced

More joke entries, tired popera and Tel Aviv 2027. I have no excitement anymore.

Where are we supposed to go after Baller underperforming ONCE AGAIN :chick3:

Get real, it was always a lukewarm effort. 15th place is exactly what it deserved. I am all for us sending a proper dance smash (in German please!) and taking the trophy, but this song was never it. It lacked impact, energy and in the vocal department, that's to say the least.

The good thing about it is that it gave a much better picture of what is here actually being listened to. That and the fact that it was in German.

Introduce app voting but you can only sign in with your ID or government token.

Expand how many people are in a jury group.

We definitely do NOT need any more "surveillance." :rip:

The German song was my favourite song this year but I found it insane that a jury of all people let it go as far as it did with vocals that botched (tho they she did a lot better in Eurovision but still…). They should've have sent  From Fall to Spring from the start as there wasn't any other proper rock song this year and all the rock fans would've flocked there but they keep playing in their faces. They should try San Marino and I'm being serious.

To me this was the best song we sent in years, so missy I am being real. No need to get all snobby on a pop music forum. :suburban:

I can't believe Israel actually finished #2 and was first on public vote :deadbanana4:

what an absolute disgrace :mazen: my friends don't even watch Eurovision and they were talking about it at breakfast ...

I was in disbelief last night, also this morning but after reading this reddit post which explains what happened. I'm not surprised anymore.

And overall the votes were more spread out this year than last, even the televote. Last year 3 songs got over 300 televote points. This year none over 300. And only 2 over 200 points.

JJ got about 100 jury points less than Nemo and also 50 less televote points, but still won with a healthy margin.

Also, it's worth pointing out that Estonia was 5th in the first semi-final (televote only) but then 2nd in the grand final televote. :celestial5:

Hopefully some investigation is done on public vote before then

Updates on RTVE and what they plan to do about that warning the EBU mailed them?

I hope JJ's win is finally the validation that Austria is all about TABS and that Conchita's victory was not all about that gimmick everyone claimed she won for.

Hope the line up of songs is a bit better next year, looking forward nonetheless. Hopefully a certain country has the door slammed in their face, too.
