Vermillion Posted 18 hours ago Posted 18 hours ago I'd say that older black Democrats should find this disrespectful and raise a fuss but they're the determinative reason that Andrew Cuomo is going to be the next mayor of New York City so that ship has sailed
GraceRandolph Posted 18 hours ago Posted 18 hours ago I seem to remember someone calling this out too… 2 2
Thuggin Posted 17 hours ago Posted 17 hours ago Obama is going to have to live down forcing this egotistical old man on us in 2020 and all the negative repercussions that followed 1
ATRL Moderator Bloo Posted 17 hours ago ATRL Moderator Posted 17 hours ago It was so obvious and transparent back in 2020.

Working-class Black senior citizens, an even smaller portion of the populace, do not have the power to single-handedly decide any election in the city or state of New York. I'd say that this constant "BLAME THE bLACKS" narrative is prejudiced, counterproductive to any working-class movement, and staler than the tea in that emoji...but if you need someone to tell you that in 2025 then that ship has probably sailed. 3

I've left out the younger black population for a reason as the stats bear out. That you'd chosen to ignore that is not my problem.
GhostBox Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago Let GA a real swing state with a large black population decide first then 👏🏼

Old Black people are a single-digit percentage of NYC's population. Even if they voted in perfect unison, they do not have the numbers to cause or stop Cuomo's election. It's an absurd claim that only serves to scapegoat a small (and overwhelmingly poor and marginalized) demographic for the Democratic Party's longstanding issues. Edited 13 hours ago by canvey916
Orsay Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago Shame on them. They do all this big talk about "protecting democracy" when it comes to Trump then turn around and rig and manipulate the system against people who want a candidate who actually cares about the working class. Hypocritical corporate pieces of ****
