I will be honest, none of them are original especially when it comes to aesthethics. Like Arca should sit there and eat her food because Cyberpunk, Netrunner, Blade Runner, Akira, and Ghost In The Shell are what she is basing her new eras off of. Literally other artists were doing the man merged with machine, Robocop steelpunk vibes long before her. Musically, she might have a point, because Arca is pretty original.

This!! Literally, there is a Cyborg Manifesto, and exploring the relationship between humans and machines has been a constant in society since the 70s. (EDIT: Or even before, because Frankenstein is kind of a monster created by technology, lol. This can even go as far as human history goes.)

Yet this ***** goes online and pretends she invented the concept of "wires in her *****", adds a couple of noises and makes it "avant-garde". Lol.

Sevdaliza is very unoriginal tho, regardless of whoever is beefing with her. I've seen her live, she is trying to sell herself as this versatile artist but it's not working when everything she does is a 6/10 at best. I rolled my eyes at her attempt at grunge. Sometimes it's better to carve an identity and perfecting a formula than to try to cover all grounds. She is selling herself as alternative when she's making algorithm music? She is very good technically, but the vibes aren't vibing. She is beautiful tho, a beautiful iranian woman.

 

She would absolutely be passing Twigs & Arca's career if she hasn't already, if she fully embraced the sell out popstardom. She has the desperation it takes to be at the right place at the right time, she is ready to deliver, unlike tour canceling pretentious Twigs.

Ι'm not with you on all aspects, but I totally agree with the tired part of her current shtick, her music before 2022 was much more enjoyable. What I'm saying is that Arca does not need to pretend that she invented that aesthetic of robotic futuristc cyberpunk whatever she's claiming it's hers, cause all Sevda did was approach her with respect in order for a collaboration. And that nearly high-infused Arca rant on discord where she threw strays at Twigs is very, very embarrassing her.

I absolutely adore the 2 of em but Heroine sounds like Rakata meets Temu. To add insult to injury, she even chose a look very similar to Kick's aesthetic.
