Reggaeton was invented in Panama by Panamanians of Anglo West Indian descent, particularly Jamaican descent. It then spread to Puerto Rico where it evolved and then the Dominican Republic and then to other countries, particularly from the Caribbean which Venezuela is. Also not sure if Arca ever claimed to have invented reggaeton.

 

Most of her music isn't even really reggaeton either, it's just experimental and alternative. She has nothing in common with popular reggaeton artists like Karol G or Bad Gyal for example
