Mick Jagger's fiancée Melanie Hamrick is addressing criticism about their relationship.

 

If you didn't know, the 81-year-old Rolling Stones rocker and the 37-year-old former ballerina started dating in 2014 and welcomed their son Deveraux, Mick's eighth child, in 2016. Earlier this month, Melanie finally confirmed that she and Mick have been engaged for "years."

 

In a new interview, Melanie was asked about her and Mick's 44-year age gap.

"He's younger than me!" Melanie exclaimed while chatting with Page Six. "He's amazing, he really is."

 

Melanie then went on to rave about Mick as a dad.

 

"It's amazing. It's natural, it's in his genes," Melanie gushed. "No one taught him, no one influenced him. He moved like that before he saw any of his dad's concerts."
