Used to a big fan and she's still undeniably one of the greatest performers we have right now but my God has she become insufferable this era. I don't know when the shift happened in her and what was the impetus but she really needs to readjust, because this ain't it.

The thing is Eusexua and Brat came into conception around kind of the same time, but while Charli poured her heart and soul into this album and gave us a perfect mix of vulnerability and abrasiveness, Twigs just gave us a faux ''let me please the gays'' description (and they say Dua doesn't have any impact) and gave us an album that doesn't have any replay value beyond the first three songs + Striptease.

 

And then on top of that she cancels shows left and right and lets her fans sit in the pouring rain all the while coming up with the millionth bullshit excuse as to why she can not go through with them.

I like Eusexua but... you spilled 

I feel like she bought into her own hype and that got into her head

I guess she's not the right messenger right now for this particular topic but also...the algorithm doesn't prioritize these great thinkers. They're there but everyone loves the throwbacks/reboots/samples way more today. Even seeking them out is a chore to do.
