The absolute NERVE of you posting this after their tone-deaf game and service pricing so far. :deadbanana2: Anyway I know this is a celebration thread for the new console so I'll see myself out. :sistrens:

RIGHT??????!!!???

Even the console tutorial demo (which was free for the ps5) is for sale :ahh:

Millions of people are spineless bootlickers:clap3:

Imagine buying an expensive af console with 2 games coming out with it and almost no difference to old switch

Is it really that serious though? Kinda weird thing to be so pressed about

They literally dedicated a button on the controller that only works after you pay. Re: Nintendo chat

And you in here defending such seedy business practices

Their games literally never even go on sale, they will repackage the same ******* game from previous gens, do nothing with it and mark it higher on new consoles. PLEASE

How does that negate what i said, quickly!

It puts into context that people realized that the price with inflation over time is still reasonable. It sucks that inflation exists, but I want to hear you explain how you expected the Switch 2 to cost $300 ($91 less than the original Switch in today's market despite massive performance updates) and games to cost $60 ($20 less than Switch 1 games at launch). Like it's just not practical. I'd love to buy the Switch 2 for $10 and get all the games I want for $2 each, but at a certain point you have to be realistic.

Not you doubling down and justifying Nintendo's scummy pricing practices for a second time. Nintendo fans truly are something else. :skull:

"Scummy price practices" Girl, wtf did you expect? In 2017, Switch launched at $299 with $60 games. That's $391 today and $78+ games. Buying an average Switch 2 game is cheaper than buying a Switch game at launch. Nintendo is already selling Switch 2 at a $50 loss and it's only $50 more than the Switch 1 with cheaper games. What was the price you were expecting?

PS5 launched at $612 with a digital-only version at $489. XSX launched at $612 and the XSS at $367. Did you have any problems with that? :coffee2:

And when you sell them, even if it's years later, you get at least 80% of your investment back. But when you buy a Sony/Microsoft/Square Enix game, it loses 90% of its value in two months. On top of that, Nintendo is at least fighting somewhat against the digital-code-in-box trend and making developers include game key cards so you can sell that back. Name another company that is actively fighting digital.

Having a button to access a chat feature that is part of the online subscription has been standard practice for years. Are you mad that other consoles offer this? :skull:

Ew, nooo! Yall are to blame for 90$ becoming the new norm for AAA games. :chick3:

Except literally all fandoms do this? :suburban: What's the issue?

Donkey Kong Bananza (2025) - $69.99

Super Mario Odyssey (2017) - $59.99 in 2017, $78.27 in 2025

Switch 2 games are cheaper than Switch 1 games. Cost of living and production has risen extensively so it's genuinely a miracle that PS5, Switch 2 and XSX games are literally cheaper at launch than PS4, Switch and X1 games.

My income hasn't increased though, so it's still more I have to spend? :chick3:
