"Edging," as he calls it, in film and television is also known as "being dragged out." If your story can be told in two episodes, it should be told in two episodes. If your story needs ten episodes, use ten episodes. Dragging things out just to drag them out with no real purpose is tedious and just all-around bad storytelling.

Season 3 was amazing, y'all are so tiktok brained and befuddled. The artist does not have to create to the whims of audiences. Admittedly the resolution of the family's storyline was remarkably unresolved but that refusal to grant the audience what it wants is powerful sometimes.

I wish creators kept their mystique instead of always trying to clap back at critics. Imagine David Lynch calling everyone bossy bottoms for being confused at the endings for everything he's ever made
