This will never happen now  I could see less restricted trading between US and EU a year ago, but not anymore. Trump has caused irreversible damage to trust between US and most other nations.

 

Even Trump would support a "free trade zone" between US and EU, EU is not going to because US is too unreliable now. What if Trump pulls it back after a year because he got mad over nothing ? or the next president is some other loony and just pulls out of it from one day to the other ? It's not a possibility anymore. 

 

These people are so shortsighted and have no business in politics, much less in an actual government

Trump is being manipulated by Russian and separately by big tech into playing chess against the working and middle classes all around the world. There is a plan, it's just not Trump's. As long as he's stupid enough to play along, he is unfortunately being strategic.
