More seriously, I've been a fan of Twigs since 2012s groundbreaking EP1. Immediately loved her wet twisted production alongside mesmerizing breathy spoken words singing. Followed her eversince. 

Magdalena tour was one of the best show I've ever seen, god only knows i've been to many many shows. The audience in the room was captivated and I didn't heard anyone speaking or screaming for the begining to the end of the show. Only you could hear people hold their breath. You could tell she is an incredible performer, the voice, choreography, vision, everything was there. 

 

I finally started to drop off of her after Magdalene. Listen to caprisongs one and only time. Even though it's a funny fresh mixtape, I felt like it lacks of consistency, soul and vision. Why would you pull out a Shygirl level mixtape when you are talented enough to push your vision far far away from that generic crap ? But that's another topic and I'm fine with alt artists trying to open to general public. I don't care. 

 

I first got excited by the Eusexua concept, even if I could not stand her new 'public persona' being at each and every show of any fashion show, aiming to make each and any of her public appearances a groundbreaking trend for social media. How boring. We get it you're Rick Owens alt weird girlie, don't worry its pretty clear.

Then I understood that saddly for her,  the marketing of this era would only be a BRAT rip-off. Eusexua could and would not succeed after BRAT, because the two concepts are too alike and the two album rollouts are to close in time.

My interest for this era almost disappeared when she organized those 'eusexua rave' you had to pay 30€ to attend to see boring DJ sets and eventually she'd show up 2 hours late for a 15 minutes performance. 

Also I had the album since late november and I was seeing all this Prague-Berlin techno inspired marketing and it didn't made sense to me since I already knew that the album WASN'T TECHNO AT ALL. 

 

Anyway, i don't really get why people would try to defend her each and any time this happens ? Why not just agree that this is beyond unprofessional on top of being disrespectful for fans ? 

I can understand that all the problems in the world can happen. But if anything would happen, why on god would she wait the last last last minute to announce ? I can tell that if it's really about VISA issues, it's something she or her team knew since WEEKS. A tour has to be planned in every details. You just don't learn the news that you can not tour the day before your actual show. 

 

For the blind fans : don't you see that everything from this era seems so so fake ? She IS NOT into it and it's easy to see since day one. She looked super bored at every eusexua rave. And then there as been NO MORE PROMO between eusexua release and begining of the tour. I mean there is obviously something wrong and you don't have to be parasocial to point this out.

shouldn't the visas be sorted out months in advance? surely they didn't wait last minute to do them?

Now the Ava Max billboard makes a whole lot more sense, she's likely replacing Twigs in the slot she had to perform.

Even I just had my US visa approved a week ago as a Mexican citizen  and I planned the date of my interview accordingly so the whole thing would be done and ready for my trip. what's her excuse?

honestly i feel like she's gonna be able to do it now oddly enough  visa situation shouldn't affect her in europe + production faults were fixed but we'll see tho
