This list is purely speculative mostly based on owned assets and valuation of those assets in 2025, and then lastly earnings, which is usually the smallest portion of their total estimated net-worth. Beyonce's omission from the list means her owned assets either decreased in value to dip below 1B, or she sold assets that were not traceable to her. Gaga is also estimated to be a billionaire, but her traceable net-worth is much lower. There are many more billionaires on earth than counted due to this alone, endless LLC shell companies within shell companies with anonymous owners, etc. It`s funny, nobody talks about Madonna, The Rolling Stones, Paul MacCartney and other big names with more years on the road and with bigger earning tours... They are the only ones who pay the costs of a tour or other things related to their work? Taylor, Beyonce don`t pay taxes? Don`t pay costs of production? Billionaires with less years of career? I don`t believe. Pure propaganda by the magazine and their teams. Madonna has the same amount of money since 2000? Get real.
dangerousbutera Posted Wednesday at 12:29 PM Posted Wednesday at 12:29 PM now imagine if they distributed that wealth to do good
Phaunzie Posted Wednesday at 01:55 PM Posted Wednesday at 01:55 PM How is RIhanna (1.4 billion)? I though she joined Oprah at the 2 billion mark. This honestly sucks. Tax them harder.
Lyrical. Posted Wednesday at 06:34 PM Posted Wednesday at 06:34 PM I would feel terrible having more money than I could spend in a lifetime while there's people out here struggling to find their next meal. Gross. 3

I remember Madonna being asked about it during RH promo and she denied numbers that were posted about her at the time. This list is for people who need to feed into their egos.

Rihanna isn't going to sell her business in parts and pieces to send all of her fortune abroad like that, and I'm sure she donates large amounts of money regularly. Almost no one has all their wealth in cash and the richer you are, the smaller percentage that is going to be. Shares are great, because you won't pay tax on unrealised gains. There are good reasons for making unrealised gains not taxable, but it means that rich can be super rich, but their wealth can't be taxed. Of course there are other ways of taxing the super rich, but they don't use those other ways to tax them either. This billionaire list would be more interesting if it listed things like number of houses owned and number of citizenships held by each billionaire. Most (almost all?) will be citizens of multiple countries.
ForgottenSoul Posted Thursday at 05:54 PM Posted Thursday at 05:54 PM I thought Selena is worth 1B or no? 1
