This had the bones to be such an amazing single. The preview had me crazy excited but it kind of ended up being a dud. Still checking the album when it's out though.

praising End of the World before / on release day only to switch it up and calling it her worst after it doesn't perform to your expectations does not sit right with me. like do you stan the art or do you stan the numbers? bffr she has entire album coming out soon so something from the album will stick anyways and she's getting her biggest acclaim form the critics in different genres so she's getting in AOTy even without a smash single on it

both Something Beautiful & End Of The World are 10/10 

But yeah this rollout has been a mess and in general Miley's promo is very strange, she should get a new team

The best thing she could do rn is ditch the "im too good for social media" shtick and post a video of herself directly addressing her fans and thanking them for responding so well to the three songs so far and how excited she is to further take them along on this album journey. Come on mama, let's get that parasocial relationship rolling  (she wont do anything of this sort because she's too far up in the clouds thinking she's Beyoncé bc of her yas-gay-entourage but alas)

This is a really really good pop song. I don't care what anyone says or how many streams it gets. One thing about this era I can be glad about is that the music is absolutely resonating with me so far.

 

Probably my favorite Miley song since Plastic Hearts era, excluding maybe Jaded.
