Charli XCX did not invent changing covers as promo.

lol knew someone would say this once i posted it

Yes i know, and this wasn't shade at kesha. Charli also didn't invent using one color for branding either but Kesha using the hot pink, the single cover itself, and the album covers being changed is very reminiscent of Brat promo

The vocal production when she's yelling singing 'brand new car' and 'bonfire' is so annoying. High Road flashbacks.

I think thats just her voice :jonny6: aint for everyone!

It would be so terrible if the drive(s) containing the master tracks of Delusional were to mysteriously vanish before the album is announced!

The announcement is still at 11k likes for some reason, still. Also if that snippet from Twitch is real, I don't understand her decisions this era at all.

But combined with my tweet promoting her, it's at 55k twitter streams, the people are waking up and loving Kesha again. and as we all know twitter likes = streaming hit, just ask Normani and Katy Perry :sistrens:

Honestly, this sound is a lot more popular than dance pop right now. Let her try to get the GP with this quick lil single that we haven't even heard in full yet. We already know other bops are coming, so let her sell out to the straights a bit.

@TomTom @bearman and I always win, but never have we all won together.

The straights are streaming Chappell Roan, Charli, Tate and Sabrina these days. Dance pop has never been more popular.

"Bombed to hell"? We're talking about an independently-released track that received over 100 million streams and became a decent pop radio hit despite not even being released to radio. That's massive :hoetenks:.

Chappell and Sabrina are pop rock more or less.

Tate is RnB pop.

Charli is the only dance pop one and Brat was a one-off greatly boosted by the Billie feature and the Lorde drama.

Nobody straight was checking for it before Guess.

Tate and Charli feel like anomalies in this current era. Chappell just released a full on country pop song and half of Sabrina's new album dabbled in country pop influences. Joyride is a very gay pop song. Radio is much more receptive to this sound right now.

Joyride is currently sitting at 105M streams, we'll be lucky if this gets to 10.5M

like.... down to the colors even. she saw everyone at the last cookout eating up charli's nachos and she simply tried to recreate the recipe using her own sauce. whats wrong with that.

That is a really random single artwork to pull, but sure.

Friendly reminder that Charli has borrowed a ton from Kesha over the years as well.
