Anyway still excited to hear this even tho. I wish it was without T-Pain!

They will be releasing both versions.

As for a debut it's an uphill battle, if this is the lead which I'd assume it is, it will probably not peak in week one. She'll have to play the long game.

Wasn't aware they were releasing both versions, that's good.
And yeah the long game is always smart to play.

Agree this sounds like a smash. It's very on trend and fresh and has the makings of a hit. Now do I like it? Hmm… not exactly sure. But this could really work.

It's more likely to get her a hit than sexy electropop. :sorry: That's what is important for her right now.

Way smart to release this on Thursday btw. If word of mouth is positive the Friday numbers will be great with playlisting...

It's okay if we don't get crazy playlisting right away. It'll matter more down the line. My question is what their radio strategy will be…

I have a good feeling that Crush is going to do everything in its power to make this a hit, which hopefully means good radio adds. JOYRIDE picked up on pop after a while too. I agree the long game is definitely what they're doing -- build hype in the spring, explode over the summer.

It definitely sounds like a smash for the GP. She's so bold for going there!

I don't think Joyride was ever (primarily) meant to be a radio single— this has radio written all over it.

I just want K to get to the GP again, most of people don't even know she's still making music but they'd probably love it if they gave it a chance :jonny6:

Exactly the GP will become invested thanks to this smash which will make room for BOY CRAZY the real lead to become the most streamed song of the year

i hope it does! it's boring otherwise imo. A rehash of stuff we've already heard.

Let's wait for the full song— but there's nothing wrong with a little generic hit.

I love how she was teasing AG Cook, Hudmo and electronic synth pop but ended up serving Florida Georgia Line vibes for the lead.

Oh ScamSha

To be fair, we still don't know who produced this song.

Are any of these artists known for making songs that chart? Aside of the one-off success of brat? Quickly.

From the clip he shared on Twitch it looked like he had his DAW open, so I'm guessing he produced.
