keshaslottery Posted March 25 Posted March 25 38 minutes ago, bearman said: They don't but they both come from the same playbook of recycling what they're known for (the doo-w op for Meghan and the trashy country pop for Kesha), adding T-Pain for nostalgia and hoping it will be a hit. This is not criticism and I don't think even Kesha will disagree with that. What I'm basically saying is that the Meghan song is not beneath what Kesha is doing. Both are going for the lowest hanging fruit possible to maybe have a hit. Yes, Kesha's mainly known for her trashy country pop!

CroNich Posted March 25 Posted March 25 I mean it's obvious this song is for the masses and not the gays which I get from a commercial point of view, but I feel like every time she tries this it flops into oblivion 2 1

Evans Posted March 25 Posted March 25 Well, I don't like the snippet, but it sounds like a hit ngl, so this better do good 1 1
ainadalkaz Posted March 25 Posted March 25 (edited) judging by the short snippet, this was made to make noise in the us. i could see this doing well on tiktok actually, it has that american midwest-ish earworm hook. it somewhat reminds me of rasing hell for some reason nn sounds like a safe choice so let's see if it does well. i'm not a fan yet but i'll support everything she puts out Edited March 25 by ainadalkaz 3

somuch4you Posted March 25 Posted March 25 (edited) I am very surprised by the fans mixed reactions for the snippet, I feel like this is such a classic Kesha song already. A little bit of rap, a little bit of country, a dose of autotune here and there... She is aiming the US with this one, for sure. But I do understand the fans that were expecting a pop banger from her with this one. Also, if some insiders are saying that the album has much better songs, this is something to keep an aye on, because this is already a really good one, so just imagine the others. I am so excited.
