His Tidal's streams will be enough

Lemonade's got massive Tidal streams

Calvin probably won't even beat DJ Khaled's second week, regardless of what Jay-Z pulls. It took him 3 hours to go #1 on iTunes against a band called Stone Sour, who debuted with 35k sales four years ago with their last album.

Lemonade had 115.2 million streams from Tidal (76.8k SEA). Also new Tidal subscribers won't be able to stream "4:44". It will be very interesting to see the final streaming numbers.

If Jay doesn't go #1 this week, he will most likely go #1 the next with 4:44 being released to iTunes and Apple Music and no major act releasing.

yes but I don't see calvin pulling more than .... 30k? 40k? and khaled breaking 50-60k. so even 70k for jay will be enough

K.Dot, Ed, Taylor, Drake, JB, JT, and Eminem are possibly the only acts who can debut at #1

Rihanna and Beyonce could if they had proper lead single releases

the verdict isn't out with Ariana yet...but i feel like she has potential to with her lead single

You forgot to mention Adele as an artist that can debut at #1.

Calvin did 35K with his last album. There's no way he's going to go #1 tbh.

it's #1 on itunes and he has good sea and tea

Calvin won't be #1... His sales will be so low that not even his SPS will push it too far.

Wild Thoughts slowing down in sales and airplay

At this point, a TWIL/Starboy situation may work for it....

So if Despacito remix gets its official video, then, game over for Mariah, right? :beatfreak:

It's been out 2 weeks :deadbanana3:

Either way, Bieber and co. are likely snatching Mariah. Unless a complete COLLAPSE just happens. Which is possible, if radio gets rid of it immediately once it peaks.

Yes.

Doubt it though, Bieber may be lazy

+ Bieber doesnt know the lyrics completely so he has pledged not to perform it

Luis Fonsi and the gang may snatch a VMA performance this August though :jonny:

If Taylor releases mid August..she can halt Bieber and company.

That's what we think. I believe even Taylor is going to struggle to do big first week. And how she approaches streaming is still up in the air, since this will be brand new music. All we know now is that she's willing to put her old stuff back out. I guess if it's down enough by then she'll be a threat. We've learned about the girls and anticipated numbers over the past year, tho.

hmm, starboy's sales run: 2-2-3-3-2-2-3-2-3-2-2-5-1. the longevity near the top.

that's what i like: 5-2-3-2-3-2-2-2-2-2-2-3-3-4.

not expecting the same here.

#1 on iTunes could easily be like 10k sales
