Agreed but the song is such a huge improvement on anything she's done since Self titled IMO. That's also why I prefer her to use her lower register because it adds that earthyness her voice can give.

Agreed she needs to work with LEGIT R&b songwriters.  Old and New

 

She should step away form Theron Thomas, he is a great pop songwriter but I feel like lyrically he is kind of juvenile or wack.

She'd be smart if she let Ecstasy build a bit and indeed sends it to Urban - and then follows it up with another R&B track with a feature (For example with Glo who she seems close with).
